I need support right nowSteady your breathing, right now · 2 min

A comfortable, paced breath you can start immediately — no questions, no waiting for anything to load.

  1. Find a position that feels steady, sitting or standing.
  2. Breathe in gently through your nose for a comfortable count.
  3. Breathe out slowly through your mouth, a little longer than the in-breath.
  4. If pausing after the in-breath feels comfortable, pause briefly — skip this if it does not.
  5. Repeat at your own pace for as long as it helps.

If you feel light-headed, breathe normally and stop. This is not a fixed count-and-hold exercise — go at whatever pace feels comfortable for you.

A little context for your next step

This Guided Wellbeing Journey is a gentle, educational starting point for people who are noticing anxiety-related concerns such as worry, restlessness, or a sense of being on edge. It brings together everyday context, reflective questions, and supportive approaches that some people find helpful — so you can understand your experience and, if you choose, prepare for a conversation with a qualified practitioner. It is supportive and exploratory, and it stays non-diagnostic and non-prescriptive throughout.

01Understand the experience

Begin by getting a clearer, gentler picture of what anxiety-related concerns can look like.

02Notice patterns and context

Gently notice the situations and rhythms that seem connected to how you feel.

03Explore gentle supportive approaches

Look at small, sustainable foundations and supportive approaches — choosing only what feels right for you.

04Consider safety, fit and boundaries

Check in with what feels safe and appropriate, and recognise when it is time to reach out.

05Choose next steps or practitioner discovery

Decide what, if anything, you would like to explore next — including finding a practitioner whose focus fits.
