What does the Gyfts Verified badge mean?
Gyfts Verified means we have reviewed selected identity, submitted practice information, and acceptance of Gyfts practitioner standards. It is not a certification, endorsement, clinical assessment, or guarantee of any kind.
Three verification tracks
Gyfts operates three verification tracks. Each track defines what information is reviewed and what the public badge detail text says. The review inputs differ by track to reflect the nature of each practice area.

What verification means — and what it doesn't
We believe in being direct about the scope and limits of our review process.
✓ The practitioner is a real person
Their identity has been reviewed against a government-issued document. The profile is not fake or impersonated.
✓ Submitted practice information has been reviewed
Documents, certificates, training information, public profile links, and service descriptions submitted during the review process were reviewed by the Gyfts team.
✓ Practitioner standards have been agreed to
The practitioner has accepted Gyfts Practitioner Standards and any additional declarations required for their track.
✗ Outcomes, results, or effectiveness are guaranteed
Verification reviews submitted information only. Gyfts does not guarantee the outcomes of any session, practice, or modality.
✗ Gyfts certifies, endorses, or recommends the practitioner
Gyfts Verified is not a certification, endorsement, recommendation, or approval of any practitioner, modality, service, claim, or outcome.
✗ The practitioner holds a regulated medical or clinical licence
Unless explicitly stated on their profile, most holistic practitioners are not regulated health professionals. Verification does not confirm clinical licences unless the practitioner is on the Clinical / Regulated track and has submitted relevant documentation.
Metaphysical and spiritual practices
Gyfts does not verify psychic ability, mediumship ability, spiritual claims, supernatural claims, intuitive accuracy, energetic outcomes, metaphysical effectiveness, or guaranteed results. These cannot be objectively reviewed. The Metaphysical / Spiritual verification track reviews identity, public practice information, service description, pricing terms, and acceptance of Gyfts practice standards only.
What "Gyfts Verified" does not mean
Gyfts Verified does not mean Gyfts certifies, recommends, endorses, clinically assesses, guarantees, or approves any practitioner, modality, service, claim, or outcome. It is a review of submitted information, not an endorsement.
Health and medical safety
Gyfts verification does not confirm that any modality diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents any medical or mental health condition. Seekers should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional where relevant.
Many holistic, complementary, and wellness practices are not regulated in the way that medical or clinical professions are. A Gyfts Verified badge does not change the regulatory status of the practitioner or the practice. Always check the regulatory status of any practice you are considering, particularly for therapeutic or clinical concerns.
Holistic practices may complement conventional healthcare but should not replace professional medical or mental health care without guidance from a qualified professional.
Practitioner standards
All practitioners applying for verification must agree to the following standards. Breaching these standards may result in verification being revoked.
Verified practitioners agree not to:
- Not to diagnose medical or mental health conditions unless legally qualified to do so
- Not to claim to cure, treat, or prevent disease or medical conditions unless legally permitted
- Not to advise seekers to stop prescribed medication, therapy, or professional care
- Not to guarantee outcomes of any kind
- Not to use fear-based selling or coercive claims
- Not to exploit grief, trauma, fertility concerns, serious illness, financial distress, bereavement, or emotional vulnerability
- To provide clear pricing information before sessions
- To provide clear cancellation and refund terms
- To be clear about the scope and limits of their services
- To refer seekers to qualified healthcare, mental health, emergency, or safeguarding support where appropriate
Approval, validity, and revocation
Verification submissions are reviewed by the Gyfts team. Submissions may be approved, rejected, or returned requiring more information. Approval is not guaranteed. The review fee covers the cost of the review, not the outcome.
Verification is valid for 24 months from the date of approval. Practitioners must resubmit and renew at the end of each cycle. If a practitioner's verification lapses, the badge is removed until they renew.
Gyfts reserves the right to revoke verification at any time if a practitioner is found to be in breach of Gyfts Practitioner Standards, if credentials are found to be fraudulent or misrepresented, or if the practitioner's conduct on or off the platform raises concern, regardless of remaining validity period.
