Initial Consultation
Your first session typically begins with a discussion of your intentions, concerns, and what you hope to address—whether emotional, spiritual, or energetic in nature. The practitioner may ask about your medical history, current stress levels, and any areas where you feel stuck or unbalanced. Some practitioners will explain their approach, whether they claim to read your aura, sense your chakras, communicate with guides, or use other intuitive methods. This conversation helps establish rapport and sets expectations for the session.
Treatment
During the healing session, you will generally sit comfortably or lie down in a relaxed position. The practitioner may work with you in person or remotely (via phone or video). They may place hands near or on your body, describe visualizations or energy patterns they claim to perceive, offer intuitive insights about emotional or spiritual blocks, suggest chakra rebalancing, or provide guidance on areas needing attention. Some practitioners use crystals, sound, or other tools to support their work. The session is typically calm and meditative; you may feel relaxed, experience emotional release, or notice nothing obvious in the moment. Sessions usually last 30 minutes to one hour.
After Treatment
After your session, practitioners often encourage you to rest, hydrate, and reflect on any insights or sensations that arose. Some claim that healing continues for several days afterward as energy "integrates." You may be given suggestions for follow-up practices such as meditation, journaling, affirmations, or lifestyle adjustments. The practitioner typically does not prescribe medical treatment or advise you to stop any medications; however, always consult your doctor about any health concerns.
Follow-up Sessions
Many practitioners recommend ongoing sessions—weekly, monthly, or as needed—to maintain energy alignment and address emerging issues. Some clients attend single sessions for specific concerns, while others pursue longer-term relationships with a practitioner. The frequency and duration depend on your goals and the practitioner's recommendations.
