The National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA) represents the Ayurvedic profession in the United States. Incorporated in 2000, our association grew from conversations that began in 1998 among four founders seeking to support Ayurvedic practitioners and preserve classical Ayurvedic education and practice. Today, we bring together professionals, students, educators, and organizations to advance Ayurveda through professional development, an evidence-based approach, community outreach, and collaborative partnerships. Our work supports educational standards, ethical practice, and greater public understanding of Ayurveda. We offer membership options for different stages of learning and professional practice. Through our Professional Ayurvedic Continuing Education (PACE) program, educational events, and annual conference, we help members deepen their knowledge and connect with colleagues. Our public directories help people find Ayurvedic professionals, educational organizations, and state associations. We also established the NAMA Certification Board (NAMACB) to develop and administer professional certification examinations and maintain certification standards. Guided by an elected volunteer board, we work to preserve Ayurveda’s traditional foundations while supporting its responsible development in the United States.

Founded in 1989, the American Herbalists Guild (AHG) is a nonprofit membership organization supporting the practice and profession of clinical herbalism in the United States. We bring together practitioners, educators, students, and herbal enthusiasts who share a commitment to responsible herbal practice and accessible education. Our founders sought to strengthen herbal education and establish standards of clinical competency across diverse herbal traditions. That work led to our Registered Herbalist, RH (AHG), designation, which recognizes practitioners who meet our education and clinical experience criteria through a rigorous peer review process. Today, we support professional development through continuing education, mentorship, webinars, our annual symposium, and the peer-reviewed Journal of the American Herbalists Guild. Our local chapters and professional community give members opportunities to exchange knowledge, build relationships, and develop their practices. For the public, we maintain directories of Registered Herbalists and herb schools to help people explore practitioners and educational options. Our mission centers on ethics, competency, diversity, and freedom of practice. Through advocacy, education, and community, we work to strengthen clinical herbalism as a profession and support access to herbalism for all.

The College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) Ireland is a natural health training college with campuses in Dublin, Cork and Galway, plus online study. Part of the CNM group established in 1998, it trains students for careers as naturopaths, nutritional therapists, herbalists, acupuncturists, homeopaths and health coaches through part-time, full-time and online programmes. CNM Ireland's courses include a BSc (Hons) in Nutritional Therapy, diplomas in Naturopathy, Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, Acupuncture, Homeopathy, Health Coaching and Natural Chef training, and postgraduate study in areas such as Iridology and Environmental Medicine. Teaching combines naturopathic principles with clinical practice, and the college describes itself as a provider of accredited natural therapy training whose graduates go on to practise across Ireland and the UK. For seekers, CNM Ireland is a training provider rather than a clinic, and it is a common qualification route for naturopaths, nutritional therapists and herbalists listed on Gyfts. Where a practitioner cites CNM training, this profile gives context on what that training covers. Course content and accreditation status should always be confirmed directly with the college. The Association for Natural Medicine in Europe e.V. (ANME) is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation founded in 2001 and registered in Schöneck, Germany. Its purpose is to preserve and develop naturopathy, natural medicine and pedagogical health promotion across Europe, and to advocate for a legally secure framework for complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) at national and EU level. ANME's members include professional associations, therapists, educators, researchers, manufacturers of natural and herbal medicines, and citizens with an interest in natural health. The association has been a member of the European Public Health Alliance since 2003 and engages with European institutions on topics such as patient access to CAM, the regulation of phytotherapy and herbal medicinal products, and the recognition of traditional and complementary medicine (T&CM) within European health policy. It also runs symposia, professional awards and educational initiatives, and maintains documentation on traditional, experience-based and evidence-informed healing methods. For seekers, ANME is a reference point for how naturopathy and natural medicine are organised and represented in Europe rather than a provider of treatment. Gyfts lists it as a professional body so that practitioners of naturopathy, herbal medicine and related modalities can be understood in their wider European context. This is an unclaimed listing created by Gyfts from ANME's public website. Details are reproduced in good faith and may be incomplete; an authorised representative can claim this profile to manage it.
