Traditional Chinese Medicine Ontario (TCMO) is a practitioner-founded professional association incorporated in 2017 and governed by an elected board of volunteer practitioners. TCMO advocates for Registered Acupuncturists (R.Ac) and Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners (R.TCMP) in Ontario, engaging with regulators, government, and insurers on behalf of the profession. The association works to advance the acceptance of TCM and acupuncture as part of Ontario's healthcare system, and also provides public education about the profession. TCMO is funded entirely by member practitioners and supporters.
