Important Notice: Gyfts operates solely as a technology platform facilitating connections between users and independent practitioners. Gyfts does not provide medical, therapeutic, or healthcare services.
Nature of the Platform
Gyfts is a digital information and marketplace platform that connects individuals with independent practitioners across holistic, complementary, alternative, and metaphysical health modalities.
Gyfts does not provide treatment, diagnosis, medical advice, or regulated healthcare services. All professional services are delivered independently by practitioners.
Independent Practitioner Relationship
Any therapeutic, advisory, or professional relationship is established solely between the user and the selected practitioner.
Users are responsible for:
- Evaluating practitioner qualifications and credentials
- Assessing suitability of services
- Providing informed consent directly to the practitioner
- Making independent healthcare decisions
Gyfts does not supervise, monitor, or control practitioner services.
HIPAA and Regulatory Positioning
Gyfts Inc. is not a "Covered Entity" under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
Gyfts does not act as a Business Associate of practitioners unless expressly agreed in writing through a separate Business Associate Agreement.
Practitioners are solely responsible for determining whether HIPAA, GDPR, or other health data regulations apply to their practice and for ensuring compliance.
Users should not submit sensitive medical information through the platform except where explicitly requested by a practitioner and permitted under applicable law.
No Emergency Services
Gyfts does not provide emergency services.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately or seek urgent medical care.
Limitation of Responsibility
Gyfts is not responsible for:
- Clinical decisions made by practitioners
- Treatment outcomes
- Advice provided during sessions
- Practitioner conduct or regulatory compliance
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gyfts disclaims liability for damages arising from services provided by independent practitioners.
