Payment & Refund Policy
Payment terms governing practitioner listing and subscription fees.
Platform Payment Notice: Gyfts currently charges practitioners for listing and subscription access to the platform. Gyfts does not process payments for healthcare services between users and practitioners at this time.
Nature of Payments
Payments made to Gyfts relate solely to practitioner subscription, listing, advertising, or promotional services provided by the platform.
Gyfts does not process or facilitate payments between users and practitioners for healthcare or therapeutic services.
Stripe Connect Processing
Payments are processed through Stripe Connect or other authorized third-party payment providers.
By submitting payment, practitioners agree to Stripe's terms and conditions in addition to Gyfts' policies.
Gyfts does not store full payment card details and does not control Stripe's payment infrastructure.
Subscription Fees and Billing
Practitioner subscription or listing fees may be charged on a recurring monthly or annual basis, as selected during account registration.
Fees are disclosed prior to confirmation of purchase.
Refund Policy
Unless otherwise stated, subscription fees are non-refundable once billed.
Practitioners may cancel recurring subscriptions at any time. Cancellation prevents future billing but does not retroactively refund previous charges.
Failed Payments
If a payment fails, Gyfts reserves the right to suspend or limit practitioner access until payment is successfully processed.
Chargebacks and Disputes
In the event of a chargeback or payment dispute initiated through Stripe or a financial institution, Gyfts reserves the right to:
- Suspend practitioner accounts during investigation
- Recover administrative and dispute-related costs
- Terminate accounts in cases of fraudulent activity
Taxes
Practitioners are responsible for determining and paying any taxes associated with subscription fees, including VAT or sales tax where applicable.
Gyfts does not provide tax advice.
Limitation of Liability
Gyfts shall not be liable for payment processor errors, temporary service interruptions, banking failures, or financial institution decisions.
