Initial Consultation
Your first session typically begins with a detailed conversation about your current concerns, goals, and medical history. A Theta Healing practitioner will ask about specific beliefs or emotional patterns you wish to address, emotional blockages you've noticed, or physical symptoms you're experiencing. They will explain the process, discuss how the theta state works, and establish what you hope to achieve. This consultation builds trust and helps the practitioner understand your unique situation.
Treatment
During the session, you will typically be guided into a deeply relaxed state through meditation or visualization techniques. The practitioner will guide you through visualization exercises designed to access your subconscious mind. They may ask you to visualize specific memories, emotions, or beliefs, or to imagine positive scenarios related to your goals. The practitioner may place their hands on you or hold them above your body (without pressure) while working. Sessions often involve identifying limiting beliefs and "downloading" new, more supportive beliefs or perspectives into your subconscious. The entire process is meant to feel safe and intuitive, with you remaining conscious and in control throughout.
After Treatment
After a session, you may feel deeply relaxed, emotionally released, or energized depending on the work done. Some people report emotional shifts, clarity, or a sense of lightness. Practitioners often recommend journaling, drinking water, and allowing time for integration. They may provide you with suggested affirmations or visualization exercises to practice at home. It's common to experience subtle shifts over the following days or weeks as your subconscious processes the work.
Follow-up Sessions
Many practitioners recommend multiple sessions to work through different beliefs or layers of an issue. The frequency and number of sessions varies based on your goals and the practitioner's recommendations. Some people pursue weekly sessions initially, then monthly maintenance sessions. Your practitioner will typically check in at the start of each session about shifts you've noticed, new insights, or areas to focus on next.
